Okay so, this book has been sitting on my shelf for years and I only got it in the first place bcs I thought the coved was cool and the setting sounded really interesting.

Someone in another review called thia "weird fiction" and I can't say anything else about it. I've finally found something more confusing than Steven Moffat's episodes of Doctor Who lol

We follow the private eye John Nyquist in a city where everyone either is a writer or is written about. Everyone's stories are connected and seperated and cross over each other, and the lines between the fictional world and reality are blurry to say the least.
Like I said, the setting sounded really interesting to me but it turned out to just be a little too weird for my taste, and I was confused and disgusted most of the time :// it had a couple really cool meta moments and I'll be thinking about the way stories and writing is portrayed in this book for quite a while, and all in all it was an... interesting read...?
