you know it's so hilarious to me that when i first found out about this series—through boston belles, and specifically hunter, since i can't help but fuck up the order of books sometimes no matter how hard i try not to—i had zero to no interest in reading it, even while knowing that eventually i would have had to. and then sinners of saints rolled around, i got so terribly attached to luna—more than i could have ever anticipated to—and the rest is history.
what makes things worse /j is knowing precisely how much i liked this series—again, shocker! i read so much l. j. shen this year, and i would lying if i said they never miss. my expectations for all saints high wery pretty low but, boy, was i positively blown away. “pretty reckless” was no easy book. on the contrary, i found it so much heavier than i was expecting it to. but pulling through was oh–so worth it.
i have to admit it's the one i liked less of the three, but i still enjoyed it a lot, so kudos! and i cried so much, oh my god. actually insane.
