In 2023 I challenged myself to simply stop reading books I wasn’t enjoying, even if I might actually like it by the end. To not be afraid to DNF books.
So I’m letting this one go… the writing isn’t doing anything for me, the characters are interesting but nothing special, and I’m genuinely just not interested in the story over the half-way mark.
I even read the synopsis of the next two books to see if I wanted to keep going, and nope, not interested.
