A Sweet, Sapphic Christmas Love Story
This little novella was such a breath of fresh air, and left me with a huge smile on my face.
Read in one sitting, this sweet story had me feeling ALL the feels. I both laughed and cried as our MFC, Carolina, navigated love and loss, against the backdrop of Christmas.
After a tragic loss during the holidays, Carolina has resigned herself to spending the rest of her life alone, with only her cat Eliza. I don't want to give away any spoilers, especially with this being a quick read, but it seems love might still be in her grasp, if she would only open her eyes, and her bruised heart. Will she realize it before it's too late or will she take the plunge into the unknown while letting go of her fears? If you like sapphic romance with a plus sized MFC this one is definitely for you. Ms. Brady's first title is sweet, spicy and a wonderful step away from the dark romance novels I usually read. I can't wait to read more from her. Maybe we'll get a Carolina and crew update (fingers crossed) or an altogether new story with a new cast of characters. Either way, after reading this, I am so excited for what Jess brings us next!
There's no real triggers in this book, at least for me. There's some light BDSM with the spice, but that's about it. And lastly, speaking of spice, I'm rating this short tale a steamy 5 outta 5 🌶️'s!
