The Boy from the Woods by Harlan Coben

The frustrating part of this book is overall it would be good. Except it still manges to remind readers that no matter what, it’s always women’s fault. And women need to enforce that to other women too. Always their fault. It’s just so clearly written by a man with the typical agenda of acknowledging sexism to imply the absence of sexism while also clearly reinforcing the rules that men can do anything and maybe they’re not so bad. But it’s always women’s fault. Annoying because the book could be good without the sexism and yet. Still there.
