A fitting and ultimately satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. Perhaps the book was a little long, but I loved the two main couples and how each of their stories ended. I thought all of the characters were well developed (including the “antagonists” who I thought were among the most interesting characters). For such a dark series dealing with slavery and war, its ending had a sense of hope and beauty that was earned and welcome. Would recommend series to other fantasy lovers.
