This covered some individual tales of Anne's children going on the same kinds of adventures she had as a child, and we saw some of her in her children. But there was also so much community gossip that I ended up skimming through many pages that rambled on about who had done this or that. I would have preferred way more time spent with Anne's children's and her relationships with them. Anne herself was very much all the things she didn't want to be when she grew up, so that is difficult and disappointing.
