I don't know how to feel about this one. I liked the story, it was well written, well researched, and well plotted. I liked the mentions of the Faerie realm and how it works, but even though it was explained in a simple way, I think you need to know at least a little bit of what Faerie and what Faes are to truly grasp all the knowledge shared here. Of course I know this is a work of fiction (isn't it?), but still, if you know nothing you might get lost in some parts. The characters' relationships were fun to read and I must admit I have a new favorite ship. It's slow and hard to read at the beginning but once you understand the context of what's going on, it gains speed easily. Highly recommended for fantasy lovers or for people just wishing to learn more about Faes.
