I would give this book three-and-a-half stars if I could. I thought it was pretty basic and predictable at first, but by the end, I really enjoyed the story and the way Macy, the main character, developed and changed. I kind of got annoyed with her sometimes, but overall I liked the book. I can completely see the appeal in books by this author to teen girls, and would probably recommend it to a teen girl looking for a girly book, or to someone who liked say, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants or Meg Cabot books.
