Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro

4.0

I think the main reason I enjoyed this book so much was because I had no idea what the premise was before reading it. I had heard the title before and, after coming across it in the library, picked it up and started reading. Because of this, I appreciated the little hints that the author wove into his novel and was ultimately surprised when everything came together in the end. I personally enjoyed the conversational feel of the writing style- it feels natural and friendly, and I liked that it seemed as if I was listening to Kathy give her narrative. Overall, I feel that this is a thoroughly developed, fascinating story that did not disappoint.
