Man I was hoping for a happier ending than this. Ricca’s death felt unjustified to the max, and NO, that’s not a good thing that amplifies Clementine’s character or so. It was poorly done, poorly setup, and honestly stupid. The whole cult thing happens really really fast too and was difficult to really follow with its fast pace. Maria felt strange and rushed and bland.

I enjoyed the second book the most. It was hopeful and sweet and made me excited for this one (which ended up being MEH). Still happy to have finished the trilogy, and Tillie’s art was great
