Read this to my daughter, almost 9yo.
We really enjoyed it because it was put together to well. Really captured the characters personalities well.
The story was a bit scary for my daughter because it was so descriptive but once we got past the first big encounter with the drauger, we were good. She couldn't wait for me to read more to her every day.
