Absolutely amazing!
Oh my good Lord.
I stayed up way too late in these pages, flipping back and forth to be sure I hadn’t missed something, traveling between each of the characters like a cat looking for a home.
And still, I cannot for the life of me pinpoint one that I liked more than the other.
This whole book was just an overwhelming sense of love, of all kinds, from every direction. Each character gave me a slice of what I needed, building up to this crescendo, where every piece of the puzzle fit exactly where it’s supposed to.
I can’t give much away. There are so many things you won’t expect, and so many things that will take your breath away.
This just slid into my #2 spot for favorite Penelope Douglas book. But I’ll never tell what number 1 is.
