Laughable Loves by Milan Kundera is the second book I have read by this author.

I read this whilst on a trip in Prague and asked a bookseller for a recommendation for a book to read and this was it. It is a collection of 7 short stories featuring different men and women in each tale, apart from Dr Havel who is featured in two of them, and their love for each other, with all of the sexuality, commitment and love, or lack thereof, in their respective relationships.

Most of the stories were interesting, a few instantly forgettable...overall, I appreciated the engaging writing style and the extremes the characters went to in their relationships.

I own a copy of this book and listened to it on Audible. I read this for prompt 34, set in a landlocked country, for the 52 Book Club Reading Challenge 2024.
