Resisting Mateo by Sam Mariano
4.0
This installment was an emotional read. I was heartbroken watching Vince's decline and kept screaming at him to let it go. Petty and jealous don't get the ladies going. But he couldn't stop himself. Then there was Mia who made me so mad. She stopped trying to make their relationship work all because of the failed assassination attempt. If she could forgive Mateo for their monstrous start in the first book, why couldn't she give Vince the same privilege. Seriously unfair. Mia pissed me off with her whining. It was like she couldn't be happy no matter guy she was with. But it worked out at the end, after Mateo quit with his cruel mind games. The whole sister wives thing didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Maybe it's because I've been reading a ton of RH lately. If all parties are happy then I can't get upset about it. But Mateo's Mateo so favoritism is already starting to happen so I don't see their trio lasting much longer.
