I've read so many takes on Anne & Henry, it's hard to try to approach this from the "If you've never read or watched any of the stories perspective." That said, if you're in that place, I don't recommend this as the *first* book to read on the subject. 

If you're familiar with the story(ies), it's an interesting new take. Bit dry in spots, but there are new nuggets, so overall, I enjoyed it.
