None of the Above: Reflections on Life Beyond the Binary by Travis Alabanza
2.0
very repetitive and chapters could've been two times shorter.
everything i loved about burgerz was lacking here - especially Alabanza's resilient wit and their ability to express so much with just a few words.
i can totally imagine that it was on purpose, a lyrical stream of consciousness, a memoir that resembled an extract from someone's journaling session.
welp, still didn't work for me. i appreciate their vulnerability and honesty but for me it just wasn't a good enough book - end of story.
