If I Should Die by Amy Plum

3.0

Call me naive but right about now I love the idea of superpowered immortals roaming the streets of Paris, protecting the innocent from those who would mean them harm.

This was a tidy conclusion to an oddly endearing trilogy. If at times a little too tidy - some of the key events leading up to the finale were ripe for conflict, but Kate and Vincent also have the superpower of avoiding conflict and not having much depth, so nothing to see here folks.

Still, I was satisfied with this ending and I would like more books in this world, preferably with slightly more interesting characters in the lead. Nevertheless, enjoyable escapism.
