This book was probably my least favorite in the series. Mostly because of the romance. I think I would have REALLY liked the romance...if it hadn't happened so quickly. They could have introduced the Morales and Co sooner and made it less rushed. But I love the direction the series took in this novel. I love how hopeless it always gets. I love the characters and how unlikable they all are at times. I love how desperate they are to survive and stay together. But mostly, I love that this is a book I can sit down with in the afternoon and finish by 10 pm, feeling like I've read something that is actually worth my time.
