Overall Thoughts: This is my first Candis Terry book but it won't be my last. It cracks me up that I started in the middle of a series but I wanted a Christmas read over the holidays. I didn't feel lost, though I will admit some curiosity about the couples that came before (yeah libraries I can pick them up there). I will also admit that the setting is what drew me in because Vineyards are one of my favorite settings. However, it was the characters that really made the book shine. I liked that both of them struggled, weren't perfect, and how to grow with each other to work it out. The side characters made me clamor for more and the love story was swoon worthy. What more could you ask for? If you say a sage grandmother from Italy then you are totally covered. This has food, wine, sizzling chemistry, and characters that will make your root for them!
