This is Lindsey and Marc's story. We met them in in the first book of this series and by the end of that book I had already fell in love with them and had many unanswered questions involving them. There is a connection between these two that is confusing to both of them, a sort of familiarity they can't explain.

Lindsey is kind of sort of dating Derek, he is the history teacher from the school in town, he is sweet, good looking, and they seem to hit it off, but Lindsey is confused about the relationship, shouldn't she feel more than she does? Then there is her neighbors best friend Marc who sets off something inside of her every time she sees him, which is often since her best friend Sofia has now gotten engaged and moved in with her neighbor, Noah. To make things even more confusing, strange things have started happening and she has started receiving strange gifts and unexplained things keep happening around her house, she has an admirer/stalker.

Marc can't explain his feelings for his best friend Noah's neighbor. He is feeling things he hasn't felt since he was a teenager. It doesn't matter though because she has a boyfriend, but some things start happening that leads him to believe that this attraction he feels just might be mutual and this mutual attraction finally reveals the truth. Could they both get what they have been looking for for years or will her boyfriend and his best friend put an end to the whole idea? What about the new threat that has surfaced threatening Lindsey's safety?

This is definitely my new one click author, I love love love this series, the friendships, the town and every one of the characters. The story flow is perfection and I hate it when the books end, but there's another on the horizon that I can not wait to dig into. Do yourself a favor and read these books, this one could be read as a standalone I guess but I wouldn't recommend doing that, you have to read the first one to really appreciate this story.
