The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
5.0

Finishing this books I have goosebumps all over and a heaviness settling in my heart. I thought this was a book about a woman murdering 7 men she was married to--its not though.(I should really start reading back covers before diving into a story)

This story is about life, and hard choices and queer love....and mostly about the cost of seeing those around you as objects to be used. It follows Evelyn on her journey to fame and fortune and through men. I laughed, I cried and I was totally enthralled in the complicated character that is Evelyn Hugo. I can't pinpoint exactly why I loved this story so much, but I was totally captivated and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this book lives up to the hype!
