The Cabana

This is a great book about finding strength within yourself as a woman, mother, spouse, and friend. The writing style of this book is extremely light and airy which makes it a great book to read on a sunny afternoon in your backyard. I highly recommend any woman to read this book because even while all these women are mothers, the book isn't solely centered around motherhood so any woman could benefit from this particular story.
This book gave me very big desperate housewives vibes. Yes, the women find comfort and strength in their friendship group among other women, but they also have extremely tumultuous individual situations and experiences. I highly recommend the the reader to check trigger warnings because this book does deal with some very heavy issues. Including, but not limited to, eating disorders, miscarriage, unwanted pregnancy, possible divorce etc. this book kept me captivated until the very end. But it did resolve very nicely and left me satisfied.
Overall I highly recommend this book. It is an absolute delight to read.
