In the Lives of Puppets by TJ Klune

Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. It literally felt like someone else wrote this book. Where was that magical and whimsical feeling from The House in the Cerulean Sea and Under the Whispering Door . It’s nowhere to be found. I couldn’t get into it at all. There was way too much pointless dialogue which bored me to no end. Additionally I was extremely uncomfortable by all the sexual comments…especially because the main character is ace. Felt like 12 year old boys talk and was such a weird choice that did not fit into this book at all.
