Darkest Hour by Meg Cabot

Okay, I love these books so much because I feel like they're easy to read and not boring. *couch Rise cough* The first half of the book I sat there waiting for Jesse to realise that he was in love with Suze. I think that it's so adorable that Jesse never calls Suze Susannah. I hate Maria and Diego with a burning fiery passion, that I wish I could have been there when Suze was kicking their butts, no that I would have been much help. So, as you can tell, I was very glad when they were exorcised. Jack the little mediator is so cute, except for when he accidentally exorcised Jesse; that wasn't cute at all. Maria is a witch-with-a-b for telling him Suze doesn't like Jesse. Clive Clemmings, PhD., was a rather funny character, even if we didn't know him very well. I thought it was funny that Suze got offended when the lady who answered the phone called Father Dominic Dom, yet she calls him Father D. Every time something went wrong, I was sitting there yelling at Suze in my mind to call Father Dominic because that would make everything all right. Either that or she should call Doc/David. I kept forgetting that no of her family knows she's a mediator, except Doc. I don't understand why she wants to stop calling David Doc. I mean, he doesn't get offended by it, does he? I laughed harder than I should have when Father Dominic called Suze's brother Bradley. At the end, I didn't think that they were actually going to print the story Suze told them. I didn't think the fancy newspaper people would believe it, that's why. I think it's funny that Suze says every time she mentions CeeCee that she's albino. Suze was so cute to go into the hole to find Jesse. When he seemed to hesitate about coming back, I wanted to yell at him, "She loves you! That's why she came!!! Not for the cat! The least you could do is come with her and be in love with her, too." So when he kissed her at the end, I died of adorable-ness during my math class. I going to shelve this on adorable, but I know it's a stretch.
