The last piece of my heart follows Bridget as she is hired to ghost write Nicole Dupree's sequel, as Nicole has recently passed away without completing it, leaving her fans bereft. Not as bereft as Nicole's husband Charlie, however, who has been left to bring up their daughter. As Bridget works with Charlie to write a suitable sequel, she begins to change her priorities.

This is a wonderful love story, you know exactly where it is going and how it should end. Bridget is a good main character to read about. I loved her sense of humour and her view on life, especially with regard to her blog. I also loved the relationship between her and Charlie, with a definite slow burn going on. The only thing for me was that Bridget was a tad stalkerish towards the end of the story, but did not detract from the story. April was great too, although the descriptions were a bit monotonous at times.

However, this is most definitely an easy, nice and happy read that leaves you with the warm fuzzies long after you finish. I would definitely recommend.
