WHAT THE HELLLL this was amazing I finished it in little over 24 hours and COULDNT put it down I feel crazy. This book went straight in and increased the tensions 10000% omg by the end every page left me more shocked. The beginning was a little slow but once Ali was back in Daevabad I LOVEDDD it. He’s definitely my favourite character so seeing him struggle with his new powers and his brother was kinda sad. The whole second half of this book was amazing like the scene where Ali shot arrows with Muntadhir went crazy. Him destroying the ghouls with his power… ALMOST GETTING ENSLAVED…. His brother practically dying I was SOO stressed. THEN Nahri bossing her mother I ate it up I’m so excited for the next book. Seeing 5yrs passed after the first book made me a little stressed but Nahris chapters were soo good I loved seeing her more confident and wanting to build the hospital 💔 Seeing Ali make her an office that has so many hints to Egypt 💔 YUCK I love them and finding out she has a BROTHER Jamshid went crazy. Dara better watch out honestly. Also seeing Ali throughout this book still unable to shut up at the worst times was hilarious
