Firstly, knocking a star off because I don't belive a white author should be profiting from racial slurs in any context. And this original author of the manuscript this was heavily based off should be named up front. I enjoyed the writing style for the most part but it felt a bit YA the way it glossed over the darker sides of the enslavement of people through a 'rambunctious adventure'.
