Beast Blood
by Charis Messier, Sato Fumino, Akira Egawa
I wanted to like this book more, but Euphemia spends a lot of time despairing about her drop-dead gorgeous blonde looks as being ditzy and it drives me up the wall. That and the suggestion that Zelaide is barely more than a teen in theory (and one that Euphemia glosses over) sort of makes me not want to see this romance pull through just yet.
With that said, the book ends kind of on a cliffhanger (no! the mystery is not solved!) with an all out unpleasant antagonist so you have been warned.
