Pivot Point
by Kasie West
Read the book in one sitting. Easy read, and enjoyable. Interesting concept where the lead character (Addie) can, given any choice in life, look ahead in the future in both directions. Loved the way the book was written, alternating chapters between the two possible realities.
Perhaps a bit too much high-school drama for my nearly-thirty taste, but it came round with a pretty serious punch at the end. I would like to see the series develop into more than boys, football... well... maybe just a bit more crime. But then again, I'm a sucker for a mystery novel, and which choice Addie was going to make between the two compelling timelines was a new and intriguing style of mystery. I will certainly read the next book in the series.
