Did not finish book. Stopped at 63%.

The characters were extremely flat and I didn’t think they had much chemistry with each other. I dislike insta love (at least one of them needs to not be immediately in love imo) and I felt like this was some of the most poorly executed insta love. The book also only told and never showed anything.  (A common problem for first person dual POV romances).

 I read far enough for them to kiss + fuck but even that wasn’t enough to keep me reading beyond that— that’s saying something when the spice won’t make up for the nonsense.  The stuff with the cult feels extremely improbable and I think I can see the big twists already.
