The Stolen Hours by Allen Eskens

3.0

An interesting concept that was presented from all angles through the alternating POVs. The exploration of trauma and mental illness didn't feel filtered and was extremely believable which is very refreshing. The story felt very realistic which drew me in and made me want to know what happened.

If you are a fan of strong FMC then you are definitely going to be a fan of Lila. She's smart and determined and I love that for her.

The story overall was entertaining and written well, but personally wasn't my favorite. The plot twist left me wanting more and I wasn't over the moon by the end. That being said, it was still a pleasant read that I enjoyed.
