Tin Man

Very good, a lovely book, imo! It's not perfect, but I'm giving it full stars because I think it might be a new fav.
For once, I think a book should be longer, though.
I wish we had a section on Annie. I wish we got to see more of the three of them in their life together and more of Michael and Annie together. I wonder whether there were editor notes to pare things down a bit. It felt very clear to me that this was a three-way love story, complicated by the order in which the love developed. It seemed like there were little things thrown in to be like "don't forget it's about Ellis!! Don't forget it's about Michael and Ellis!!" when I think the book wanted to be about all of them, together and their pairwise relationships. The book felts most like itself when talking about the love they each had for one another.
