Only When It's Us by Chloe Liese

I hate it. God this book was so fking frustrating!!! The start rly had so much potential and it just kept going downhill, and then hit rock bottom at the 60% mark. From that point on, it was basically a comedy shit-show and I skimmed everything else.

Where do I even start with how much I disliked this ugh. As evidently by my update activities with this book, I was very passionately angry at ALL the characters in this book lol. And that is in itself pretty impressive because it’s usually just one or two. Let me start with my least favorite: Willa.

She’s basically painted as this fiery, hot-tempered and super talented football player, who’s apparently excellent in it and very ambitious as well. Loved that in fact, definitely refreshing and I loved that she threw punches first and ask questions later. But then the author had to give her a rly infuriating trait, where she basically avoids anything and everything that remotely resembles a problem. Yep. It is so fking bad to that point that she simply cannot talk about anything, that requires her to face some sort of consequence or to talk abt her fking feelings. Case in point: she’s a student athlete which means that she has to miss classes at times, but apparently, her past professors have been rly accommodating and wld freely provide notes/materials to help her out. Until she meets this hard-ass prof who refuses to spoon-feed her info and problem-solve her fking issues for her. And so she gets angry
