I’m ngl…that opening elevator scene? I got 2nd hand embarrassment and cringe from it. I’m not sure if the opener was the reason behind this, but I felt like this book was missing something. Also a bit insta lovey, she “pretends” to not like him for about .5 seconds. After they get together I’m left feeling like nothing really happens for a bit until the 3rd act breakup with the blackmail. Overall just alright, did like the spice though.
