When the Duke Was Wicked by Lorraine Heath

5.0

This book treats topics that aren't the usual in Historical Romance, or even in Romance in general. I won't tell you which are those topics because I don't want to spoil everything.
Lady Grace wants to marry for love, but she has an important dowry that attracts awful suitors. So she seeks help on a family friend, the widower turned rogue Duke of Lovingdon. And, obviously, the help turns into something more deep, more meaningful, and more steamy!
So if you're looking for a Historical Romance with a strong, decisive heroine with feminist points of view, who is really ahead of her time, and who has a storyline with impact and importance, here you can find one. And if you need the hero to support her and be a companion more than an owner, you absolutely have one. Because love and independence can and should be synonyms.
