I could finally read this book and I loved Josh and Delia’s story, thanks to the other books I was dying to read about them and the whole story was amazing. Delia has always been in love with Josh but he never reciprocated her feelings thanks to his past which he never told anyone. They were both attracted to each other but he never acted on his feelings for her but she always hoped he would cared about her like she wanted.
Delia always was Josh’s soft spot and there were a lot of times when he couldn’t deny his feelings for her, but he always backed down and told her he couldn’t love her. There was a lot of back and forth between them but Delia always wanted him and she knew the only way to have him around was as friends.
After she tells him she’s pregnant she’s afraid what would happen but he knows he has to do the right thing so he decides to move with her to have her close even though he doesn’t want to be in a relationship. Delia tried to keep him at arms length but they couldn’t deny their attraction and it was a matter of time before they realized they wanted to be together as a family.
When tragedy strikes Delia knows Josh will blame himself, and while she tries to make him understand that he isn’t at fault he still thinks it happened because of him. He left but thanks to his brothers he realized he couldn’t lose Delia and their son so he asked her for forgiveness and after everything they went through they were finally happy even though they had a long way to come thanks to Josh’s past and their daughter’s loss. Their ending was exactly what they deserved and even though we didn’t see much of them as parents it was obvious they were amazing with their son Everett.
Now I can’t wait to read Oliver’s story and see what all the couples are up to.
