The People vs. Alex Cross by James Patterson
4.0

Lately I havent liked any of the new Patterson books coming out. This was a pleasant surprise, maybe because I expected very little? I also believe that since he writes the Alex Cross books himself, these are the closest to his early books.

I liked this book for a lot of things, I wish the serial abductors werent detracting from the story because honestly I think it was just an unnecessary element added to the book.

I also am not sure how Cross' momentous decision to just be a consultant and not work full time is different because I believe he has acted as a consultant various times in the past few books,

I did like how certain things were handled but I feel like I was missing a chunk of the information maybe due to a book shot I havent read?
