Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin
4.0

Don't expect "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow". This book is more YA-ish, about a girl who loses her memory of the past four years in the early 2000s after a fall. That allows her to reevaluate her entire life but also creates a lot of tension and drama. I'm not a huuuuuge fan of the amnesia trope but I think it was well executed in this one. I enjoyed the book, the first half a lot more than the second half though. I'm a bit too young to get all the references, but the setting feels genuine, loved all the music and mixtapes. I might also interpret too much into it, but I saw some remnants of T&T&T in it. But overall it was a decent book but not mind-blowing. I enjoyed it nevertheless. 3.5 stars
