This was as gory and as majestic as the first season of the Tv adaptation. There's nothing new I can say that hasn't already been said. George RR Martin is a genius and there's a reason this is a masterpiece and a classic ( we don't talk about the 8th season of the adaptation. It doesn't exist.)
I'm ready to see how close the show came to the books.So far, the books seem pretty damn great.
And I'm also pretty sure this would have been 5 stars, if I hadn't taken a whole 3 months hiatus while in the middle of reading it. Lol. I'll do better with the rest of the books.
