As always, The Thursday Murder Club is full of twists and turns. Elizabeth takes central stage in this book but it’s Joyce who truly keeps you on your toes. From empathy to excitement, this is a book that keeps on giving!
Second in the series and leaving me keen to read the next instalment.
A return of DCI Chris Hudson and Donna but with an update, Chris is dating Patrice - Donna’s mum. Joyce remains naive (or does she) and Elizabeth is in danger of being made a fool - by her ex nonetheless. The introduction of MI5 and Elizabeth’s history brings her more to life in your head. I’m in love with these characters, they truly are an entertaining bunch!
