The Nature of Witches by Rachel Griffin

fast-paced

2.75

The concept of this book is intriguing and unique. The story had such potential but just fell flat. I didn’t enjoy the writing style because it felt long a repetitive. I got really annoyed because the amount of time she would talk about the climate change, the world dying, it’s the shaders fault , witches are dying, I hurt the people that I love around me  , I can’t control my magic, I hate it, I don’t want it, I need to be alone etc. I honestly couldn’t take it. The magic wasn’t explained further and we know nothing about her parents or what happened. It honestly felt like a diary. Which breaks my soul to say because the concept is so cool. Just disappointed.
