This is a really amazing piece of journalism, presented in a very engaging way. I don't read much nonfiction as I tend to find it dry, but with Killers of the Flower Moon I was enthralled from start to finish and polished it off in a few days. There was a brief moment in the final part where I felt like it was moving slowly and that part (which is told from Grann's perspective) might not be necessary to the book; but I was very quickly proven wrong.
As suggested by the title, this is not a light read. There are detailed descriptions of murders, autopsies, etc., though to Grann's credit the book never feels gory or graphic. I would describe the language instead as factual, almost clinical, and (most importantly) very respectful of the dead.
