A Game of Thrones #10 by Tommy Patterson, George R.R. Martin, Daniel Abraham

I've had Tin Drum open for months and I'm only a few chapters in; I started this yesterday and I'm gorging on it. The more fool I, since I know the epic is unfinished. The more fool I, since I might glean something more useful than entertainment from Grass. I haven't even finished Mary Stewart's faux medieval Arthurian series but I started this anyway.

But Darwin wept. I want to know how they reckon years -- stars? There's no telling yet -- without seasons or angle of sun. More than that I want to know how bees and anything else evolve and subsist in this wacky climate. I might hope to get fed up enough that I stop reading it.
