Let Me Hear a Rhyme by Tiffany D. Jackson

5.0

Aahh, I absolutely loved this book.

Even though I'm not one to have a favourite author and purposedly read all of an author's books, Tiffany D. Jackson may be becoming one of my favourites. Her writing style is just... good? And also so diverse and flexible. [b:Allegedly|30037870|Allegedly|Tiffany D. This book was also perfect for getting out of my reading slump. It's kind of a light read but still touches on important topics like racism, police brutality, and street violence. After a month of barely reading, I read this book in only two days, because it was so engrossing and entertaining.

The characters are just so realistic and beautiful and I fell in love with them. I could relate to them in some way - I could relate to their hopes and dreams as well as their fears and flaws, and it was just an overall beautiful story to read.
