This book is like a sci-fi Hunger Games. I did enjoy it, but there are a LOT of characters to keep track of, and I think I struggled with understanding the complex political nuances of multiple societies. The author did a good job explaining everything, but I think it was too much for me to consistently remember throughout the book. That said, I'll still be reading the next book in the series to find out what happens.
