Lackluster novel. Purportedly about the importance of friendship, but it was mostly full of random information about plants (which had next to no bearing on the plot), snarky comments against modern ways of keeping in touch with people (e.g., social media and texting), and a boring b plot about her parents that didn’t teach me anything/make me think differently about anything. It gets two stars for being occasionally funny and having some nice sentences about the beauty of female friendship
