Kill Show by Daniel Sweren-Becker
5.0
This is unlike anything I’ve read (the closest is maybe Big Little Lies with the way the story is driven through dialogue). This novel is compulsively readable. Some of the twists felt obvious while others were an enjoyable surprise- I was unable to predict where things would land which is always appreciated. It seems a bit far-fetched at some points but then you have to stop and think… is it really? The way our culture is obsessed with true crime? How pretty much everything is monetized in capitalism? I really enjoyed this read and although it’s not perfect, it’s the first book I’ve finished in a while which means it held my attention!
