Don't let the cover fool you! This is one of the best vampire series I have ever read. The story is well written, the plot is engrossing and the characters are quite interesting and a bit complex. I innitially only purchased the 1st book to give the story a try since I liked the summary but hated the cover. Needless to say, 6 hours later I found myself online purchasing the remaining books in the series. Can't wait to read Ascension!
