“Predation is my favorite game, morsel.” - Quit Your Waning, Etta Pierce

Spectacular sci-fi romance anthology with a spooky vibe for the season and an incredible roster of talent. This is a charity anthology supporting the Native Justice Coalition’s Two-Spirit Program so please give it a purchase! It was an honor to be an ARC reader for this anthology.

Anthologies are a great way to introduce yourself to new authors as well as a bite sized snack between bigger reads. Often anthologies are a fun way for authors to tease new series or expand on existing ones and there was definitely some of that here though you do not need to have read existing series to enjoy their contributions.

Etta Pierce’s story features Sizzle, a four legged sentient side character in her ISU series who is more beast than man and knows exactly what he wants, or rather, who he wants. I might have giggled every time he calls the FMC “morsel”.

Trish Heinrich teases her sci-fi series that’s coming out this fall with zombified humans possessed and animated by a sentient mist.

Olivia Riley gives us a horned vampiric alien MMC who falls for the FMC via conversing with her through a transceiver.

Marlowe Roy, known for her incredible omega verse series gives us a marvelous alien romance with emotional depth and intimacy.

V.C. Lancaster introduces us to sex pollen and dang do I want more of that please and thank you.
